It is hard to begin to figure out what to say or think when you hear about a tragic accident happening. The accident on Saturday that killed Eric Okerblom and devestated Katelin Edward's life has left so many sad, shocked, numb and overwhelmed. I find myself thinking of all of you who know Eric as a classmate and friend. My prayers are with each of you as well as his family, the friends he surely made at college and those whose life he touched even if for a moment.
I found something during prayer that I thought might be of use during this time..."life can be difficult and discouraging at times. Yet during our darkest moments, we can depend on God. When we do, we find the courage to face even the darkest days with hopeful hearts and willing hands" Let's pray for everyone, touched by Eric's life, to depend on God and be given courage to face these dark days.
